RANDY E. KLEINMAN

FOUNDING PARTNER

Randy Kleinman is the call employees make when they've been wronged, and the call their employers dread.

A founding partner of Kleinman Ginzberg LLP, Randy has built his career taking on powerful employers and the elite defense firms that represent them. He handles the cases that careers and reputations turn on: discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation and whistleblower claims, wrongful termination, and the high-stakes severance and contract fights that decide how careers end and what comes next.

What sets Randy apart is how he wins. He knows where the leverage is and how to use it, and he has a rare gift for engineering creative resolutions that deliver his clients more than a courtroom ever could. He builds cases that make the other side want to settle, and when a case needs to be tried, he tries it. Many of his most significant results will never be made public, which is exactly how his clients prefer it. That combination has earned him something most litigators never do: the genuine respect of the lawyers across the table. When Randy calls, opposing counsel know the smart move is to pick up.

Randy learned to try cases under fire. He began as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the New York City Law Department, where he tried cases in courtrooms across all five boroughs and argued and won appeals before the Appellate Division. He learned exactly how large institutions defend themselves, and he has been using that against them ever since.

His reach extends well beyond the workplace. Randy has represented A-list entertainers, athletes, executives, and production companies in entertainment and commercial matters across New York, California, and beyond, work that rewards discretion, creativity, and a steady hand when the stakes and the spotlight are high.

Randy is admitted to practice in New York, California, and the District of Columbia, and before the federal courts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star, has served as an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law, and is a published author. He earned his J.D. with honors from New York Law School.

Away from the courtroom, Randy is a founding partner and producer at Visor Entertainment, where he develops and finances feature films. It keeps him fluent in the business his clients live in, and sharp on the deal side of every fight.

Clients find Randy at the hardest moment of their working lives. They stay with him because he listens, he levels with them, and he does not back down.
